Observer Analyzer Essentials offers students a thorough overview of the most powerful features, use cases, best practices, and shortcuts of the Observer Performance Management Platform’s Analyzer component. Course modules include Real Time Statistics, Discovery, Packet Capture, Decode, Filtering, Alarms, Expert Analysis and Reporting.

Upon completing this course, students will be able to interpret packet data and navigate Analyzer, as well as identify and capture packet information to solve network and application problems. Students will know how to define and measure protocols, capture packets, identify Top Talkers, analyze and playback VoIP & video, and analyze applications at OSI layer 7.

Upon completing this course, students will be able to configure GigaStor, capture packets, navigate GigaStor Control Panel, mine data, apply filtering strategies, complete forensic analysis, understand timelines, effectively store and replay network traffic, and complete thorough reconstruction necessary to solve network and application problems. Students will know how to measure protocols, identify Top Talkers, client-host pair statistics, and configure and run control panel reports.
